The best remedy for being forgetful is to practice organization and planning not to forget important matters. Using a planner or journal has helped me a lot in achieving my everyday goals. Sometimes, I find those simple recipe notepad helpful in listing down what I need to buy in the grocery. Our schedule sometimes could be chaotic and it helps to use my smartphone's calendar. However, I find it very effective if I still write down my plans, things-to-do in my journal or planner. I guess, we have to start choosing the perfect planner for next year's life journey and travel adventure.

It's the time of the year again to start collecting 18 Starbucks stickers (9 Starbucks handcrafted + 9 Starbucks Christmas beverages) to get a limited edition Starbucks Planner 2018. Yesterday, I was lucky to get the first dibs on Starbucks planners and its holiday offerings. I cannot remember having a Barbie doll when I was a little girl. Because my parents earned just enough for our needs, I perfectly understand that we cannot afford to buy one and it's okay. We have the best street food in town. If you want to taste one of the best empanada, then visit Vigan. In the streets and islands of Camiguin, you'll find crispy sweet delicacy called kiping. In my recent trip to Bicol, I had its delicious rice cake being sold along the highway. Of course, you should not miss the street food in Manila - kwek-kwek, banana que, isaw, taho-taho, sago't gulaman among others.

Have you been to the newly opened Ayala Malls Cloverleaf in Balintawak? The opening of Cloverleaf Mall will provide customers in the area opportunities to experience casual dining and shopping that's more convenient for them. Ayala Malls Cloverleaf houses our favorite shops from food, supermarket, fashionable clothes, toy store to wellness services. As well as relaxation and family bonding with its state-of-the-art cinemas.

The mall boasts a festive feel with its vibrant and colorful decors designed by the Googly-Gooeys. The colorful mural highlights iconic and historical landmarks such as the Quezon City circle, jeepney, Malabon fish port, Banawe and Binondo.

Just like other Ayala malls, Cloverleaf has its own Activity Center where future events and activities will be held. I can't wait to see their giant Christmas tree.

We toured around the mall and visited some of the shops. Each store we visited distributed gifts and vouchers.

I'm not sure if this is the first time, a Robinsons Department Store and Supermarket are inside the Ayala malls. But I'm very happy because I'm a frequent shopper of Robinsons and Cloverleaf mall is just 10 minutes away from home.

We also spotted several coffee shop - Starbucks, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Kumori Japanese Bakery and a lot more. However, you can also dine at Cloverleaf's Food Choices food court for more food options. You should drop by and check out for yourself.

I have yet to try Owndays, an optical shop offering fashionable eye wear.

If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen my small collection of blue plates.

One of my favorite shopping destination during the launch is Japan Home Center. I enjoyed my early holiday shopping treat and bought 10 pieces of Japan blue plates.

Baker's Co. also gave us baking materials and ingredients. I can't wait to apply what I learned from the baking class I attended at Eton International. Robinsons supermarket and department store gave us grocery and skin care set. Ayala Malls distributed movie passes to all the guests while Eng Bee Tin gave us a box of delicious Hopia Floss.

I don't know how to bring home my shopping bags after the tour. It was a fun-filled day attending the grand launch of Ayala Malls Cloverleaf. Congratulations to Ayala Malls!

It was in 2006 when I did my first solo trip outside the country. I remember I was scared then but excited at the same time. After 10 years, I will be traveling solo once again. That means, no one would help me carry my luggage so I pack lightly wisely and cut off the list of travel essential for solo traveler.

Here are recommended gadgets you could bring when traveling solo.

I always have a small portable speaker when traveling or even going on a staycation. Music adds color to life so imagine you're at the pool area without music, it's boring right. It happened to us many times since then I always bring my own mini portable Bluetooth speaker.

White flower oil or essential oil to relieve dizziness and headache

Basic Clothes when Traveling

Basic tank tops or sleeveless tops.
Underwear, I usually bring 9 pairs for 3 days trip.
3 pairs of shorts.

My day starts listening to my favorite playlist of song of praise and worship. Most of my favorite worship songs sung by international artists and bands such as the Hillsong United. But of course, there are Pinoy singers and composers as well like Garry Valenciano.

Last year, someone invited me to attend ASOP Music Festival press conference and Grand Finale. It was then that I learned about the competition and listened to their songs. They are all beautiful.

At the moment, ASOP is the only praise and worship song writing competition in the Philippines. This year marks its 7th year, it started in 2012 with the aim to bring back worship songs in our daily life.

The search for new original songs of praise OPM returns in A Song of Praise (ASOP) Music Festival Grand Finals Night on November 13 this year. ASOP Music Festival announces its 12 grand finalists and their interpreters who will perform at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum stage.

The songwriters, including their interpreters, will vie for a total of Php1 million cash prizes. Last year, 19-year-old Noemi Ocio, who wrote “Kumapit Ka Lang” won the grand prize pot of Php500,000.

This year, there are songs that will be interpreted by known artists like ASOP Music Festival alumni: Gail Blanco, Brenan Espartinez, and RJ Buena. Performers who will interpret for the first time for this prestigious songwriting tilt include Sam Mangubat, Liezel Garcia, Zsaris, Apple Delleva, Kris Angelica, Dan Billano, Jay-R Siaboc, JV Decena, and Jay R.

ASOP TV airs via UNTV Your Public Service Channel every Sunday, weekly judges have the unenviable task of selecting the monthly finalists to go head-to-head on the Smart-Araneta stage after a year.

It was my first time at HMR Trading Haus last Saturday. To be honest, I did not know about this surplus shop in Pioneer until a fellow blogger invited me to pay a visit. We thought the best shopping time would be on a Friday afternoon just before the long weekend for ASEAN Summit 2017.

Where did the long weekend go? I did not notice how time passed by but I am happy spending it with my family - my mom, siblings and husband. Yesterday was mom's birthday.
